Join with Catholic Climate Covenant on All Saint’s Day as we evoke the intercession of these saints of creation and of the poor.

Glory to you God, our Creator, who blessed the Church with many saints that give to us examples of how we can live our lives as caretakers of creation and of the poor. 

Glory to you Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, who inspired these men and woman through your sacrifice on the Cross. 

Glory to you Holy Spirit, our Sanctifier, who empowers us to live our lives according to their example and the example of Jesus Christ. 

Mary, Mother of the Saints, who Christ sanctifies as the pinnacle of creation, pray for us.
St Joseph, who shows us the beauty of working with creation, pray for us.
Apostles of Jesus Christ, who saw firsthand the intimate relationship Jesus has with His creation, pray for us.
St Irenaeus of Lyons, who taught us that Jesus is the victor and reconciler of creation, pray for us.
St Anthony the Great, who advocated for the poor and modeled a simple lifestyle, pray for us.
St Athanasius, who saw that Christ is God’s greatest gift in creation, pray for us.
St Ephraim the Syrian, who taught us that God’s love is part of His bounty, pray for us.
St Basil the Great, who aided the victims of drought and famine, pray for us.
St John Chrysostom, who cared for the sick and the poor and found refuge in God’s creation, pray for us.
St Augustine of Hippo, who taught us to see the genius of God in His creation, pray for us.
St Columban, who found refuge and encountered God’s goodness through the gift of His creation, pray for us.
St Isadore, who taught us to see God’s beauty through the natural sciences, pray for us.
St Maximus the Confessor, who taught us to encounter Jesus our brother as part of creation, pray for us.
St John of Damascus, whose life of service glorified God and His creation, pray for us.
St Hildegard of Bingen, who saw harmony between the natural sciences and the theology of nature, pray for us.
St Bernard of Clairvaux, who modeled a life of humility and simplicity to honor God, pray for us.
St Francis of Assisi, who taught us all to love as one family united in God’s creation, pray for us.
St Clare of Assisi, who was known as “little plant” to her friend St. Francis, pray for us.
St Anthony of Padua, who preached tirelessly on behalf of creation, pray for us.
St Bonaventure, who taught us that the Creator reveals Himself through creation, pray for us.
St Thomas Aquinas, who saw the handiwork of God in the book of nature and the book of scripture, pray for us.
St Teresa of Avila, who cultivated a relationship with God through creation, pray for us.
St Martin de Porres, who recognized that even the lowliest are members of God’s family, pray for us.
St Therese of Lisieux, who taught us to see even the smallest parts of creation as gifts from God, pray for us.
St John Paul II, who encourages us to live in peace with God and in peace with all His creation, pray for us.
Blessed Giles of Assisi, who bound himself as a poor farmer to God’s creation, pray for us.
Blessed John Duns Scotus, who taught us to honor creation as a gift from God our Creator, pray for us.
Sr Dorothy Stang, who was martyred for advocating for the rural poor and the poor in spirit, pray for us.
Br Vicente Canas, who was martyred for defending the truth that creation should be justly shared by all God’s family, pray for us.
Fr Fausto Tentorio, who was martyred for the sake of the downtrodden and the landless, pray for us.
Fr Tulio Favali, who was martyred because he worked for justice and peace for all of God’s children, pray for us. 

Holy men and women, teach us to live our lives as loving caretakers of God’s creation and God’s poor. May Christ transform our hearts, that we may join the choirs of heaven and sing forever the praises of our Creator and our Creator's handiwork.
